Over the Rainbow Bridge

Belladonna passed into doggy heaven on the 4 July 2007 leaving behind a devasated human family John, Tina, Nick and Jossie, her fourlegged companion Bilbo, her two sisters Donna and Poppy and a whole host of other friends whose lives she touched over her short three years. Bella loved nothing more than to have her tummy tickled, at any opportunity she would roll over onto her back and hope somebody was taking note of this action. She was an active member of the Cape Province Dog Club from tiny puppy to teenager and took part in breed competition obtaining her Championship status in December last year. Bella was also awarded Best Cape Bitch for 2006, along with trophys for Reserve Best of Breed, Best Opposite Sex and CC Bitch all for 2006. Her last competition was Oudtshoorn weekend 2007 and on the Saturday she won Reserve Best of Breed. Unfortunately that was to be her last as we had to rush back to Cape Town on the Sunday when she took ill.

Bella, our beautiful black faced girl, you will always be in our thoughts, our hearts and in our space. It will be
very difficult to forget you, ever.

Bella will be laid to rest with our old boxer Billy on our new plot in the Estate of Stonehurst where she loved to
walk with us on weekends and chase the guineafowl. We will be erecting a wall of rememberance in the garden of our new home which will support plaques in memory of our two beloved dogs.
